Initial Meeting
Everything always starts with a meeting, but we want this to be as relaxed and informal as possible. A no-obligation chat over coffee, at a cafe or IoW location to suit you, allows us to hear about you and your requirements.
This relaxed approach also allows you to get a sense of us as people. People deal with people, so it's important to build trust from day one. There is no charge for an initial meeting, and the coffee (and cake) is on us!
Proposal and Quotation
After our initial meeting we will put a proposal document together for you to study in your own time. It will cover what we understood from our meeting, along with our vision for how your website should function.
The proposal will also contain the price, a timescale and a plan of exactly what to expect moving forward.
Design Stage
When you ask us to proceed with your website, we get to work. We don't usually take any payment at this stage, as we want you to feel comfortable working with us. That will come much later on.
We will involve you during the design process and communicate what elements you will need to provide - like text, logos and images. The upshot of being involved during the design stage, means you get a website you feel part of; something you can feel confident in and which will be effective for your business.
We will also get you up and running with a web domain (a website's address), which will be registered in your name so you have complete control over ownership.
Go-Live Website Launch
Once you're entirely happy with the website, we will publish it live. In preparation for this we ask for payment, as we now start to incur real cost. Usually you will pay Webflow directly ensuring you remain in control.
Our work doesn't stop there however, as we will also teach you and your key people how to make changes if it's a CMS website. We will be there for you at the end of the phone if you need help in those early days.
On-Going Support
We also offer a support package, either short term or long term, should you want our on-going help.
Some clients don't feel confident enough to make updates themselves, or are simply very busy and realise it makes business sense to have someone do this on their behalf. This could also include minor design changes to the website as your business evolves.
